Perquimanschamber.com is a wholly owned entity (Nonprofit) of the Perquimans County Chamber of Commerce (“PECO Chamber”). All Rights Reserved.
Your privacy is one of our primary concerns. PECO Chamber makes every effort to provide you with a safe and private environment. This Privacy Policy tells you what information we gather and how we use it. It applies to the following PECO Chamber websites: perquimanschamber.com and perquimanscountyvisitorcenter.com and any other site on which this Privacy Policy is identified as the applicable Privacy Policy (collectively referred to as “PECO Chamber Sites”). This Privacy Policy does not apply to affiliate websites that have published their own privacy policies. This Privacy Policy also does not apply to the websites of our business partners or to any third parties, even if their websites are linked to PECO Chamber Sites. We recommend you review the privacy policies of the other parties with whom you interact.
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, “Business Partners” means any subcontractor, vendor, or other entity with whom we have an ongoing business relationship to provide products, services or information.
Information We Collect
We may ask you to provide personal information when you:
• Use PECO Chamber Sites.
• Request services, support, or information.
• Place orders for products or services.
• Participate in surveys, sweepstakes, or other promotional activities.
• Share PECO Chamber content through social media.
• Subscribe to newsletters, download white papers or other materials or.
• Contact us.
Information we may request includes, but is not limited to, your email address, name, title, address, telephone number, social media public profile, advocacy areas of interest, advocacy contacts or business/company information. If you make a purchase, we may ask for your credit card number and billing information. Forms that you may fill in will indicate whether information requested is required or optional.
We also collect information about your visits to PECO Chamber Sites, including the pages you view, the links and ads you click, search terms you enter, and other actions you take in connection with PECO Chamber Sites and services. In addition, we collect certain information from the browser you used to access a PECO Chamber Site, such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type and language, access times, the Uniform Resource Locator (URL) of the website that referred you to the PECO Chamber Site and to which website you browse.
To offer you a more consistent and personalized experience in your interactions with PECO Chamber Sites, information collected through one source may be combined with information obtained through other PECO Chamber resources. We may also supplement the information we collect with information obtained from other parties.
Some PECO Chamber offerings may be co-branded and offered in conjunction with another company. If you register for or use such offerings, both PECO Chamber and the other company may receive information collected in conjunction with the co-branded services and may use the information according to each company’s privacy policy and other agreements with you.
Information Usage
PECO Chamber uses your personal information to:
• Deliver the services and support or carry out the transactions you have requested.
• Send communications to you, such as your transaction status (for example, order confirmations), information about products and services, promotional offers, and surveys.
• Customize, analyze and improve our products, services, technologies, communications and relationship with you.
• Protect the security or integrity of PECO Chamber Sites, our business, or our products or services; or
• Otherwise, as disclosed to you at the point of collection.
Disclosing Your Information
PECO Chamber shares your information with Business Partners to carry out the transactions you request, to provide services to you, to provide you with information you may find useful (for example, partner discounts and advocacy updates), to customize and improve our products and services, so that you can share through social media, and/or to update records. In addition, we may disclose your information when legally required or to protect our rights.
Collection and Use of Children’s Information
PECO Chamber Sites are not directed toward children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13 years. If you are under 18 years of age, please do not submit any personal information through PECO Chamber Sites without the express consent and participation of a parent or guardian.
Cookies and Tracking
PECO Chamber Sites use “cookies” to enable you to sign into our services and to track your traffic patterns. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your computer’s hard drive. Cookies help us personalize and make improvements to PECO Chamber Sites so that you can have a pleasant and productive experience. You can set your browser to send a warning message before accepting cookies or to refuse cookies. Check your browser for instructions on how to handle cookies. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to use all the features of PECO Chamber Sites.
Online Behavioral Advertising by PECO Chamber and Others
PECO Chamber also works with third party advertising and personalization partners that use cookies to help us display personalized content and appropriate advertising during your visits to PECO Chamber Sites and other websites. These cookies identify the pages you view, the links and ads you click on, other actions you take on those web pages, and the site from which you came before arriving at a web page. “Do Not Track” Signals
Please note that while you may have the ability to opt-out of targeted advertising through the http://www.networkadvertising.org/choices link above and you may be able to control the use of cookies through your web browser as described in the “Cookies and Tracking” section above, some web browsers may give you the ability to enable a “do not track” setting that sends a special signal to the websites you encounter while web browsing. PECO Chamber does not respond to web browser “do not track signals” at this time. If we do so in the future, we will describe how we do so in this Privacy Policy.
Email Marketing
Some marketing you receive, including email marketing, may also be personalized based on your visits to PECO Chamber Sites. In addition, when you click on some links in the email marketing, our email service provider may place a cookie on your browser. This cookie would be linked to your email address and used to gather information about the products and services you view on PECO Chamber Sites. Information gathered may be used to personalize and customize future email marketing messages you receive. You may opt out of receiving email marketing by clicking on the unsubscribe link provided in the email message you receive from PECO Chamber.
Notification of Privacy Changes
PECO Chamber reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time. When changes are made, they will be posted to PECO Chamber Sites immediately with a revised Effective Date. We encourage you to periodically review this Privacy Policy.
Third Party Sites
Please be aware that other websites that may be accessed through PECO Chamber Sites may collect personal information about you. The information practices of those third-party web sites are not covered by this Privacy Policy. PECO CHAMBER DOES NOT HAVE ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE PRACTICES OF ENTITIES, WEBSITES AND/OR OTHER SITES NOT OWNED BY THE PERQUIMANS COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.
Credit Card Data
PECO Chamber recognizes your concerns about web commerce and transactions using bank and credit card information. Therefore, PECO Chamber is committed to keeping personal information secure during commerce transactions by using a secured SSL encryption with all direct transactions that involve using credit card or banking information.

Terms of Use of the Perquimans County Chamber of Commerce
The Perquimans County Chamber of Commerce (“PECO Chamber”) owns, operates, and maintains the following Web sites: perquimanschamber.com, hereinafter referred to as “Web sites.” The Web sites, all the pages and screens on the Web sites, including the content contained therein and any accompanying documents, are owned and controlled or licensed by PECO Chamber, except as otherwise expressly stated, and are protected by U.S. copyright and other intellectual property laws and treaties. PECO Chamber owns the title, copyright, and other intellectual property rights in the Web sites.
You certify that you are an authorized agent or representative of your company, if applicable, and are authorized to enter into this agreement. This License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (either as an individual or on behalf of a company) and PECO Chamber for the access and use of the Web sites. By clicking “ACCEPT,” indicating acceptance electronically, accessing or using the Web sites, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to the terms of this Agreement, then do not indicate acceptance of the Agreement and/or do not use the Web sites.
License Agreement
PECO Chamber grants you a nonexclusive, non-assignable, nontransferable, revocable, limited license to access and use the Web sites and content contained therein only for internal business purposes.
Subscribers and members are further granted the right to access username and password-protected Web pages and content. The transfer or assignment of the subscriber and/or member’s username/password, in any form, to any third-party, including without limitation other employees or subcontractors who do not have PECO Chamber’s express permission is strictly prohibited. You are responsible for securely managing your password and are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. If you become aware of any unauthorized access to your account, theft, or loss of your password, you agree to contact PECO Chamber as soon as possible. If our technical staff suspects a password is being used by someone who is not authorized, we may temporarily disable that user’s access to preserve system security.
PECO Chamber reserves the right to revoke the license conferred herein at any time without warning and without cause. PECO Chamber reserves all other rights in the Web sites not granted herein.
You agree not to use the Web sites in a manner that violates any applicable law, regulation, or this Agreement.
Limited Warranty and Disclaimer
The Web sites are offered on an “AS IS” basis. PECO Chamber makes no warranty or representation, either express or implied, with respect to the Web sites or the content contained therein, including their quality, performance, accuracy, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. PECO Chamber does not warrant that the Web sites are error or virus free and makes no representation or warranty as to the speed or performance of the Web sites. PECO Chamber does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Web sites.
The information contained on the Web sites is being provided by PECO Chamber as a service to the business community. Although every effort is made to ensure the accuracy and completeness of this information, PECO Chamber and its employees, contributors and reviewers are not responsible for any errors or omissions, nor for any governmental agency’s/court’s interpretations, applications and/or changes of statutes/regulations described herein.
The Web sites are designed to provide accurate and authoritative information in a highly summarized manner concerning the subject matter covered. They are provided with the understanding that PECO Chamber and others associated with it are not engaged in rendering legal, technical, or other professional advice or service. If legal and other expert assistance is required, the services of competent professionals should be sought.
Limitation of Liability
In no event will PECO Chamber be liable to you, or any member or subscriber, whether in contract or in tort or under any other legal theory (including, without limitation, strict liability and negligence) for lost profits or revenues, loss or interruption of use, or any other economic loss, or for any indirect, special, incidental, consequential or similar damages, arising out of or in connection with the performance or non-performance of the Web sites and this Agreement, or for any claim made against any user, including without limitation, a member or subscriber, by any other party.
In no event will PECO Chamber’s total liability under any claim made by a member or a subscriber exceed the cost of a one-year membership or subscription paid by the member or subscriber at the time the alleged conduct occurred. For all other users, in no event will PECO Chamber’s total liability under any claim exceed the cost of a one-year subscription to the Web sites published at the time the alleged conduct occurred.
Permission
Unless expressly stated otherwise, all the content and graphics contained on the Web sites are protected by U.S. copyright and international treaties and may not be copied, reproduced, republished, or distributed without the express permission of PECO Chamber. Copying, displaying, distributing, transferring, linking to, reproducing, licensing, altering, creating derivative works of or republishing all or any portion of the Web sites for any commercial or public purpose without PECO Chamber’s permission is strictly prohibited. PECO Chamber does not allow reproduction of the content and graphics contained on the Web sites, unless the content is expressly labeled with a grant of permission to reproduce, and the content is presented in its original state with reference to PECO Chamber. Reuse is permitted for current members solely for noncommercial, internal purposes.

PECO Chamber is committed to correcting any factual errors or errors in interpretation. Editorial staff will address any errors brought to their attention and make appropriate corrections in a timely manner.
Forum Guidelines
The Web sites may contain forums intended for subscribers and/or members to discuss issues with their peers. These forums are not moderated or reviewed by PECO Chamber for accuracy or completeness, nor does PECO Chamber respond to or offer any commentary to the forum discussions. Therefore, PECO Chamber cannot be responsible for the accuracy of any statements, comments, opinions, or interpretations published or made in the forums.

Governing Law
This License Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of California.
Severability
If any one or more of the provisions contained in this Agreement is, for any reason, held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable in any respect, then to the maximum extent permitted by law, the invalidity, illegality, or unenforceability will not affect any other provision of this Agreement.
Changes to this Agreement
We may change this Agreement from time to time, and the changes will be effective when posted on the Web sites. Please review the Agreement periodically on the Web sites for changes. Your continued access or use of the Web sites indicates your acceptance to the changes.
No Waiver
No failure or delay in exercising any right hereunder will operate as a waiver thereof, nor will any partial exercise of any right or power hereunder preclude further exercise. Any waivers or amendments shall be effective only if made in writing.
